What You’ll Do
- Own and Grow a High-Value Portfolio
Develop, manage, and expand a commercial loan portfolio with a focus on middle-market and corporate clients across diverse industries. - Be the Trusted Advisor
Cultivate long-term relationships with business owners, executives, and key stakeholders by understanding their goals and delivering customized financing solutions. - Drive New Business Development
Proactively source new lending opportunities through networking, referrals, and community engagement—your name should open doors. - Structure Sophisticated Credit Solutions
Analyze complex financials, structure deals, and present credit opportunities with confidence and precision. - Partner with Credit & Leadership Teams
Collaborate closely with underwriting, credit administration, and executive leadership to ensure sound risk management and strategic alignment. - Lead with Market Intelligence
Stay ahead of economic trends, industry shifts, and competitive dynamics to position the bank as a premier lending partner. - Mentor & Influence
Act as a leader within the organization—guiding junior lenders, sharing expertise, and contributing to a culture of excellence.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive commercial lending experience with a strong production track record
- Proven ability to develop and manage a portfolio in excess of $75MM+
- Deep expertise in credit analysis, structuring, and risk assessment
- Established network in the Greater Houston / The Woodlands market
- Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate complex client needs
- Executive presence with polished communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
