You’ll be the architect of meaningful financial partnerships—cultivating long-term relationships with middle-market and commercial clients across industries such as energy, manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, and professional services. Your day-to-day is a blend of high-level strategy and hands-on execution:

  • Originate, structure, and close sophisticated commercial loans that balance risk intelligence with growth ambition
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, CFOs, and executive teams navigating expansion, acquisitions, and capital restructuring
  • Lead complex credit analyses and present compelling, well-supported loan packages to credit committees
  • Build and manage a robust portfolio of commercial clients while actively sourcing new business opportunities across the Houston market
  • Collaborate with credit administration, underwriting, treasury, and private banking teams to deliver seamless client solutions
  • Monitor portfolio performance with a sharp eye on risk mitigation, covenant compliance, and long-term relationship health
  • Represent the bank in the community, industry events, and networking environments as a senior ambassador of the brand

You are more than a lender—you are a deal strategist, relationship builder, and financial storyteller.

  • 8+ years of commercial lending or commercial banking experience with a strong track record in production and portfolio growth
  • Deep understanding of credit structuring, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment
  • Proven ability to source and close complex commercial loans in competitive markets
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with a natural ability to earn trust at the C-suite level
  • Strong negotiation instincts and the confidence to guide clients through high-stakes financial decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (advanced degree or banking certifications a plus)
