SVP, Credit Manager
Location: Ontario, CA
Compensation: $190,000–$220,000 base + performance incentives

As SVP, Credit Manager, you will shape the credit culture of the organization, balancing disciplined risk management with smart, profitable growth. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and judgment, guiding complex credit decisions while mentoring a high-performing team. What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee the full credit lifecycle for complex commercial and specialty lending portfolios

Establish and refine credit policies, risk frameworks, and approval authorities that scale with growth

Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on credit quality, portfolio trends, and risk exposure

Chair or actively participate in loan committees, presenting clear, confident credit recommendations

Partner with Relationship Managers to structure creative, bankable deals without compromising discipline

Monitor portfolio performance, concentrations, stress testing, and early warning indicators

Guide regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews with precision and confidence

Recruit, mentor, and elevate credit officers and analysts into top-tier talent
What Sets You Apart

10+ years of progressive credit leadership within commercial or specialty lending

Proven experience managing senior-level credit teams and complex portfolios

Deep understanding of underwriting, risk rating, policy governance, and regulatory expectations

Decisive judgment paired with thoughtful, well-documented credit analysis

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or formal credit training a strong plus
