RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the management of the budget to ensure that deposit, loan and net income goals are met.
- Attract new loan and deposit relationships through a combination of cold calling, personal networking and attending various social/business events in the community.
- Assist in properly following and implementing all Bank audit procedures.
- Assist with the management of the sales and service efforts to ensure retention of existing relationships and growth of new relationships.
- Manage personal sales efforts in order to meet goals.
- Requests specified financial information for loan application.
- Analyzes applicant’s financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan.
- Interviews applicants to obtain corporate history and to resolve questions regarding application information.
- Negotiates structure and pricing of credit facilities.
- Presents credits for approval.
- Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy.
- Analyzes potential markets to develop prospects for loans and deposits.
- Monitors borrowers' financial condition for compliance with loan covenants.
- Maintains and services existing portfolio.
- Maintains delinquencies and classified loans at a minimum.
- Act as Bank representative at civic and/or industry meetings or functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years related experience
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
