Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) Relationship Manager to drive business development and foster long-term client relationships. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering tailored financial solutions, and ensuring risk management compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial banking, relationship management, and credit structuring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients.
  • Strategic Financial Advisory: Provide clients with customized financial solutions, including credit, treasury, and other banking products.
  • Credit & Risk Management: Oversee credit structuring, underwriting, and portfolio risk to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including credit, treasury, and investment services, to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of key industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to provide insights and guidance to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in commercial banking, relationship management, or corporate finance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Strong financial acumen with expertise in credit structuring and risk assessment.
    • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain high-value client relationships.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
