The Role

This is not a “maintain the book” role. This is a command-the-market role.

As SVP, Senior Relationship Manager, you are the trusted architect behind high-value commercial relationships. You read balance sheets like maps, anticipate risk before it surfaces, and turn complex client needs into long-term, profitable partnerships. Clients don’t just work with you, they rely on you.

You will sit at the intersection of growth, credit discipline, and influence, shaping portfolios, guiding deal strategy, and setting the tone for relationship excellence across the market.

What You’ll Do

  • Own, grow, and protect a sophisticated commercial portfolio with precision and intent

  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor to business owners, executives, and financial decision-makers

  • Structure and negotiate complex credit solutions across C&I, owner-occupied CRE, and related products

  • Partner closely with Credit, Portfolio Management, and Treasury to drive smart, scalable deals

  • Identify new opportunities through market insight, reputation, and relentless follow-through

  • Lead conversations that balance ambition with risk discipline

  • Mentor junior relationship managers and elevate the standard of client engagement

What Sets You Apart

  • 10+ years of commercial banking or relationship management experience

  • Proven success managing and expanding large, complex commercial portfolios

  • Deep credit acumen with the confidence to defend structure and strategy

  • Strong presence. You carry authority without noise and confidence without ego

  • A market connector who opens doors through trust, not transactions

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees a plus

Why This Role Wins

  • High-impact seat with real autonomy and decision-making authority

  • Sophisticated clients and meaningful deal sizes

  • Leadership that values judgment, relationships, and long-term thinking

  • Competitive compensation with upside that rewards performance

  • A platform where your name, not just your numbers, matters

Bottom Line

If you thrive on complex deals, influential relationships, and being the person clients call first, this is your seat at the table.
