What You'll Do
As Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager, you'll serve as the face of the bank within the business community by:
- Developing and expanding a diverse portfolio of commercial banking relationships.
- Generating new business through networking, referrals, centers of influence, and community involvement.
- Structuring commercial loans, lines of credit, treasury management solutions, and deposit relationships.
- Working closely with credit partners to analyze financial statements and structure sound lending opportunities.
- Managing the entire relationship lifecycle, from prospecting to closing to long-term portfolio management.
- Becoming a strategic financial resource for business owners across multiple industries.
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities including cash management, private banking, SBA, and wealth management services.
- Maintaining strong credit quality while balancing growth objectives.
- Representing the bank at local business organizations, networking events, and community functions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of commercial banking or commercial lending experience.
- Demonstrated success developing commercial relationships and growing loan portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of commercial credit analysis and underwriting fundamentals.
- Experience with C&I, commercial real estate, owner-occupied, and investment lending.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Established business network within the Sacramento market is highly desirable.
