VP Finance - Construction
As the VP of Finance and Administration, you will be instrumental in driving company strategy, ensuring compliance, and building, revising, and implementing processes within the company. Your focus will revolve around managing all aspects of finance, accounting, HR, and general administration in the company. You will be the company finance and HR liaison to our sister company as well as the point person with our vendors and suppliers. This person will be a key advisor to the President of the company related to financial and HR items.
Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting team and ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely, accurate manner.
- Accurately prepare all financial statements for the company using the ERP system. Includes monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to all stakeholders.
- Manage HR duties for the company including payroll, benefits, commissions, pre-employment, 401k, etc.
- Manage general office administrative responsibilities including facility services providers, utility providers, phone system, etc.
- Advise the President on company financial matters
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the company ERP system
Qualifications
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10 years of previous experience as an Accountant or Controller, preferably in a similar line of business
- Knowledge of Infor software is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Management or team leadership experience
- Expert Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and what-if scenarios
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license.
