The Vice President, Portfolio Manager will serve as a thought leader and focus on driving go-to-market strategies. This role will be a cohesive, global portfolio strategy for multiple products across current and future offerings to ensure short and long-term sustainable growth in the market. The role is responsible for leading a team of go-to-market experts that collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, customers, partners, and industry analysts to create value adding, innovative, differentiating offerings for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a comprehensive global offering strategy across our portfolio of products which will shape go-to-market choices and direction through market analyses and opportunity assessments.
  • Lead a go-to-market strategy to ensure effective execution of go-to-market plans across all facets of go-to-market, including, but not limited to, offerings, packages, pricing, content development, and sales enablement.
  • Create and drive adoption of the go-to-market plan cross-functionally across all parts of the organization to ensure company financial goals relative to assigned portfolio are met, including serving as the subject matter expert and offering enablement point person.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Enablement to create sales collateral and training. Help drive enablement for Sales, Presales, Partners and Services organizations in support of new offering launches. Drive industry analyst relationships and achieve a leadership position across the portfolio.
  • Create and track metrics to ensure effectiveness of go-to-market execution against strategic objectives, including, but not limited to, financial goals, market penetration and customer expansion. Provide executive updates to senior leadership.
  • Develop a strong team of product owners through effective leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, technology, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall functional experience in working in software industry in product marketing and product management.
  • Minimum of 8 years of people management experience.
  • Creative problem-solver with strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Adept at quickly understanding new technologies and identifying business value.
  • The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel.
  • Experience in the customer engagement software industry.
