As a Vice President, Relationship Manager, you will serve as both a strategic advisor and a growth catalyst, managing a portfolio of commercial clients while identifying pathways to expand relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients with a focus on relationship depth, retention, and revenue expansion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering a seamless and high-touch banking experience
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across lending, treasury, deposit, and other financial products
  • Structure and present credit requests in collaboration with underwriting and credit teams
  • Analyze financial statements, assess risk, and recommend appropriate credit solutions
  • Develop and execute relationship strategies aligned with both client goals and organizational objectives
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient deal execution and exceptional client service
  • Maintain active involvement in the local market to generate new business opportunities and strengthen community presence
  • Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with credit policies and proactive risk management
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through financial decisions with insight, precision, and confidence

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or a similar client-facing financial role
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a commercial portfolio
  • Strong credit acumen with the ability to analyze financial statements and structure deals
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
  • A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach
  • Established network within the West Houston market is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
