As a Vice President, Relationship Manager, you will serve as both a strategic advisor and a growth catalyst, managing a portfolio of commercial clients while identifying pathways to expand relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients with a focus on relationship depth, retention, and revenue expansion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering a seamless and high-touch banking experience
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across lending, treasury, deposit, and other financial products
- Structure and present credit requests in collaboration with underwriting and credit teams
- Analyze financial statements, assess risk, and recommend appropriate credit solutions
- Develop and execute relationship strategies aligned with both client goals and organizational objectives
- Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient deal execution and exceptional client service
- Maintain active involvement in the local market to generate new business opportunities and strengthen community presence
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with credit policies and proactive risk management
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through financial decisions with insight, precision, and confidence
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or a similar client-facing financial role
- Proven track record of managing and growing a commercial portfolio
- Strong credit acumen with the ability to analyze financial statements and structure deals
- Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
- A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach
- Established network within the West Houston market is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
