Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategically minded, and results-oriented Vice President / Senior Vice President – Relationship Manager to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. This role is integral to our organization’s continued expansion and success in the Texas market and is designed for a dynamic financial professional with a proven track record in cultivating, managing, and expanding client relationships.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored financial solutions to a portfolio of commercial and/or high-net-worth clients, managing complex credit and depository relationships, and playing a key role in client acquisition, retention, and strategic growth initiatives. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role that demands superior interpersonal skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively across internal teams to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial and/or private banking clients, with an emphasis on developing deep, advisory-based relationships built on trust, service excellence, and financial insight.

  • Identify, pursue, and originate new business opportunities through proactive calling, networking, and referral generation across various industries and client segments.

  • Analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and structure customized lending solutions that align with clients’ operational and strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with internal partners—including credit, treasury management, private banking, wealth management, and capital markets—to deliver a holistic and seamless client experience.

  • Manage the end-to-end credit process, including initial analysis, structuring, underwriting, documentation, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and credit risk guidelines, with meticulous attention to detail and documentation quality.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects while managing the growth, profitability, and risk profile of an existing client base.

  • Represent the bank in the Dallas business community by attending industry events, networking opportunities, and community development initiatives.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to effectively guide clients and mitigate risk.

  • Mentor and support junior staff as appropriate, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and performance excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

  • A minimum of 7–15 years of progressive relationship management experience in commercial banking, private banking, or financial services.

  • Strong credit skills with a deep understanding of financial analysis, loan structuring, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Proven ability to generate new business, close deals, and grow a book of business while maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.

  • Familiarity with the Dallas market and established local business networks strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, financial spreading tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
